Attendees: A mix of companies, both in terms of size and sector, are attending this fair. Fair is restricted to 300+ postdoctoral researchers at Argonne, who come from a variety of disciplines including but not limited to engineering, basic sciences, and high-performance computing. Postdocs at Argonne have worked on such high profile research as the lithium ion battery technology currently housed in the Chevy Volt.
Position type: For the sake of consistency between laboratory and industrial hiring, we would strongly encourage full-time, permanent positions.
When (Date): September 21st 2012. The PSA symposium will take place on September 20th – 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Career fair attendants are welcome to attend presentations. September 21st will be open for Career Fair and interviews.

Common Questions:
We cannot attend the career-fair but want to attend the symposium. Can we do that?
If there are companies who are interested in learning more about Argonne postdoctoral research and connecting with our postdocs, but do not currently have any openings, they may want to consider sponsoring our Research symposium. For their donation, we can register two company representatives to spend the day at Argonne networking with both our postdocs and invited postdocs from our academic partner institutions, and provide the opportunity to chair symposium sessions.
We have openings but cannot attend the fair due to time-constraints?
Argonne will provide a represented booth with your openings. However, we will need information about engineering/hiring managers in charge of those openings.
Do you have a brochure about Argonne research I can review, or forward to our technical managers?
