The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Temple University has been experiencing a significant growth in the last four years, in line with the strategic direction of the College of Engineering.

The Department has an opening for a tenure-track faculty position, at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor, in Environmental Engineering.

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or in a closely related area; be able to develop a significant research program; and, provide effective instruction, at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Applicants with expertise in physical/chemical processes, nanomaterials or emerging contaminants are encouraged to apply.

The possibility of collaboration with existing departmental strengths will be considered in the review of applications.

Review of applications will start in April 2010 and continue until the position is filled.
