Postdoctoral Appointees - Job Opportunities
New Initiative in Nanomanufacturing
DOE's Industrial Technologies Program within the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy has a new initiative in nanomanufacturing, as well as an existing R&D subprogram in advanced materials. Isaac Chan, the R&D lead at ITP, would like Energetics to hire someone to support this program. Isaac would like someone with a materials background who is familiar with nanotechnology and also has an interest in energy policy. The responsibilities of this position would include helping define the strategic direction of the nano and materials subprograms, preparing communications and outreach products for diverse stakeholders, preparing presentations and other programmatic materials for Congress and EERE management, and coordinating with industrial partners and other government agencies involved in nanotechnology R&D.
There is no hands-on work involved.
Isaac would like someone with experience, but we are looking to pay in the range of $55K-$85K.
