The recent University of Chicago Argonne, LLC Awards ceremony recognized Argonne employees for their distinguished performance, outstanding service, educational accomplishments and contributions to safety.

The Pinnacle of Education Award was created to recognize an individual for their leadership in science through the Argonne Educational Programs and to help foster a culture at the Laboratory that values and contributes toward education.

Director Isaacs presented the Pinnacle of Education Award to the Department of Educational Programs Learning Center Team Deon Ettinger, Kathleen Greenawalt, David Kupperman and Patricia Zriny (all CEP) for their dedication in fostering a culture of education that extends beyond the laboratory. The award recognizes those who help mentor students and encourage them to pursue careers in the science and engineering fields.
