TITLE:          Thermomechanical code qualification

SUBJECT:    A new code to simulate the behavior of fuel rod pellet and clad is under development by a joint french-german-american team.  The job is to participate in the code qualification (comparison of code calculation to measurements and model adjustment)

TOOLS:        Fortran – Unix – Excel
                       “COPERNIC” code

PERIOD:     2^nd semester 2006

STUDENT LEVEL:  Graduate in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering

                                    If possible, proficiency in scientific computing languages (C, Fortran)                

French Level:   Not necessary
