Advanced nuclide separation for high-level liquid waste processing

    
SUMMARY:

The biopolymer microcapsules with selective inorganic adsorbent is prepared by sol-gel method. The useful nuclide (Pd) is selectively separated from high-level liquid wastes by using microcapsules. The highly purification of Pd and its utilization is studied for the recycling of useful nuclides.
