INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM

STUDENT EXCHANGE PROPOSAL

SUBJECT:
Research & Development of Advanced Nuclear Fuels

SUMMARY:

Physical properties of advanced nuclear fuels such as MOX and nitride fuels are studied based on both the experimental characterization and/or computer simulation. For instance, we have evaluated the thermal conductivities of minor actinide oxides, NpO2 and AmO2, by molecular dynamics (MD) Simulations.
