STUDENT EXCHANGE PROPOSAL

 

 

SUBJECT:  
Magnetic mutipole plasma source experiment for fusion or accelelator.

 

 

    
SUMMARY:

Very large low temperature plasma source experiment with using a principle of the mangnetic multipole plasma confinement. This type of source is mainly used for high current ion sources for fusion plasma heating and industrial ion beam applications. Experiments on discharge characteristics and beam extraction.

REQUIREMENTS:

Fundamental knowledge on electromagnetics
