Thesis-Parts Appointments

Thesis-Parts Appointments support qualified graduate students who wish to visit Argonne for periods from a few days to a few months, so that they may utilize special Laboratory facilities. Financial support, consisting of travel, housing, and a per diem payment, may be provided to help defray the cost of visiting Argonne . Student is required to have a health insurance policy in force while at Argonne.

Application Materials

To apply for the Thesis Parts Graduate Program, print the application packet below. Two (2) reference forms are required; please read carefully and make sure all required signatures are obtained. It is required that a representative from your university sign the “Service Agreement for Graduate Students” in order for you to participate at Argonne. Please send this signed form as a part of the application.
