Testimonials from Summer 2006

Working with other teachers from different schools is very healthy for me.  Working or asking advice from scientists....WOW!

I made biodiesel all by myself!

We were successful in meeting most of our "lofty" goals that we set at the beginning of the project. As always it was a pleasure working with my team.  This program has helped me to be a better person and professional.

Testimonials from Summer 2005

This is a lot of good stuff I can bring back to the classroom.  I’m learning more from talking to my fellow teachers than I ever thought was possible.  Especially since I’m a new teacher, this experience has been wonderful.  I cannot wait to test out my new units and report back to everyone next year.  Thanks for everything!
- Meg VanDyke

This year has just been totally enjoyable for me.  It felt exciting from a research perspective to chase down and try whatever ideas we came up with that were realistic. It has been a great experience and I will miss everyone.
- Gina Cook

The research presentations were great once again.  I think that these presentations are excellent to share with students.  I shared last years, and the students were captivated by the topics, as well by the data.  They are an excellent resource.
- Bill Ness

My goal was to gain lab experience – that certainly has happened, but more importantly my thinking has changed…..I feel I’ve progressed from a linear to a more diffuse mode.
- Shelley Woodall
