ANL Research Highlights

Hired as CHM staff after postdoc. Some research highlights over the 20 years of work include: new catalysts based on layered materials; silicate sol-gel materials chemistry; deposition of metals, metal sulfides, metal oxides; hydrodesulfurization & oxidative dehydro¬genation catalytic supports; characterization by diffraction, microscopy, NMR, neutron scattering, and synchrotron x-ray radiation techniques. Clay synthesis, surface science and chemistry. Clay-polymer nanocomposite polyelectrolytes in batteries and membranes in fuel cells. Silicate templates for designer carbon anodes.


New Endeavors

Responsible for the development of strategic alliances and collaborative partnerships with academia, industry, and the user community at large. Manage user programs administration.
