ANL Research Highlights

My post-doctoral work mainly involved looking at x-ray damage to polymer thin films using reflectivity. Secondarily, I was involved with studies of gold particle distribution in polymer sandwiches, using XSW and GISAX.

Currently I am an assistant professor of physics at Valparaiso University. I am doing x-ray reflectivity studies at the solid-liquid interface, mainly of protein adsorption onto self-assembled monolayer surfaces. Since Valparaiso is an undergraduate institution, much of my time is spent teaching and mentoring; this includes bringing students to the APS for research experiences.
